2 years?

I generally support a bunch of Wordpress blogs and forgot that I even had this up. But that's the good thing about 'The Cloud', ..or is it a bad thing..? Eitherway, it never truly disappears. Whereas if my Wordpress blog hosting site goes under, then I'm out of my own personal history.
I'm going to see if I can import the pages from my various sites..

The stupid thing about TV

TV is an evil thing. I was part of the 'lucky' generation as my Father called it. I had a TV in the house since birth. Though I would say that he's the lucky one as I was his own personal remote control and TV technician.

We had a B&W (that's black and white for you youngin's) TV when we lived in PEI. We also lived in a very rural area and only had a 'rabbit ear' antenna so we watched CBC. No PVR, no cable.

Anyway, fast forward 35 years and now TV is digital and you can watch anything at anytime. At 4am when my 3yr old wakes up, he'll ask for Dora, Thomas, Diego and others. And the amazing thing is that it's available. I have it either on the PVR, DVD or through Rogers-on-demand.

Then add the internet into that mix and you can literally watch anything. Not only can I purchase TV shows on demand through Hulu or even through the TV stations themselves.

So what makes TV stupid? Besides the comment, I would say the fact that they will sue your pants off if you decide to use your own way of downloading TV shows (i.e. torrents and piratebay). Plus the fact that you are spending your life, watching other people enjoying their lives. Get outside people, pretend that there is a camera on you. Make your own TV shows.

That's my mini-rant for the day.
